These were your views in 2024 phixiphixi ndini 😂 you’re a loser for encouraging people to not vote. An even bigger loser for not voting and bragging about it after having benefitted for over a decade from the labour of the VOTE! People stood in queues for you to be “Ndlozi”! They made a mark on ballots for you to have views that matter. You’re loser shame… you benefited from the blood and sweat of those before you so you can draft laws and stand at the highest echelons of power. Your influence is borne of the aspiration of the VOTE! Your wounds and bruised ego must never cost us young people deciding who governs. That you believe it should is proof that your departure was the best thing to happen to us. Guess what, coward, we are still here!!! Alive! Existing! Pursuing economic justice whilst you wallow on the sidewalks having given up our collective quest because your “petite” ego couldn’t stand the heat. Because you felt if not you then nobody. Heal!
In the end, the writing is on the wall—properly displayed in percentages. It begs the obvious question: what is it about YOU that produced this performance? Why is it that you have lost almost half of your vote share? Yes, YOU! As I have said before, go argue with the wall. As for me, I did abstain. A deliberate, conscientious abstention. The right to abstain is not limited to parliament or council sessions. It is very much constitutional, and available to all citizens—especially those who DO register to vote! That our voter registration increases by millions every time is a sign of genuine interest. When they do not show up to vote, after turning out to register, they may very well be refusing to choose between different versions of failure! Voting MUST NEVER be a conscription; it is a right that comes with responsibility—one that can’t be deployed without conscience. Above all, NO ONE is entitled to people's votes. VOTES are earned, just like respect. To say otherwise is the gospel according to dictators. How else can we explain that Mandela campaigned in 1994 and lost both KZN and Western Cape, yet Mbeki won both 10 years later? They earned the votes through results on the ground by improving the living standards of our people. They were NOT ENTITLED to them! Those who protest by deliberately not voting or deliberately spoiling their vote are exercising as sacred a right as the right to vote! A true revolutionary should know that, and would listen to them, for they too have registered a view! It is in line with this spirit—the letter of which is in the Constitution, that 'every citizen is free to make political choices'—that Ronnie Kasrils, alongside Barney Pityana and others, in 2014 called on people to protest by spoiling their vote. I’m sure you’ll agree, these are stalwarts of the anti-apartheid movement. They understood that no one—NOT even their own comrades—is ENTITLED to votes. But first, go to the wall, brother. There, the measure of your weight is fully determined."

I’m here and will always show up for us. In any arena. Unapologetically. @EFFSouthAfrica loves us. ❤️💚🖤
Women on this app say every day that women don't support other women. What we saw was pure hatred towards you, even from women we once respected. Dr T , to us you are the winner. You gave it your all. But yet again, we saw how hatred by black people towards their own reigns supreme. But forward we go, we aren't cry babies❤️🖤💚

I applaud @drtlaleng for agreeing to represent the EFF as its mayoral candidate for Joburg. You had many options as an accomplished doctor, but you chose us. For that, you have my respect and gratitude. The ground forces love you because you have shown love for the organisation.

Maybe the EFF and the ANC must take opposition benches in Metros and let the DA and ActionSA expose their incompetence to voters.

[BREAKING NEWS] O Kae Jonase, Sekepe Se Wetse‼️‼️⁉️ The ANC has lost its majority in 14 municipalities across the North West! 😂🤭 This includes 11 Local Municipalities and THREE District Municipalities. The coalition negotiations are going to be very interesting. The political landscape in the North West is changing, and the coming days will be crucial in determining the composition of municipal governments. The EFF Coalition Team, led by Secretary-General Cmsr Marshal Dlamini, can pack their bags and move to the North West. Klaaar tomorrow! 😂🔥

The people of Ndwedwe in KZN have suffered with dry taps for years now. I can’t wait to see the people of Ward 06 get their borehole delivered by the party they voted for. The EFF has put its mandate on the line to deliver boreholes in all 37 won wards within the first 100 days. #ServiceDeliveryNow

An extremely mature approach to #Elections2026 from @Julius_S_Malema at the #EFFPresser “A setback is not a defeat; it is an opportunity which gives us a moment to reflect on how to better present ourselves & our message of service delivery to the people”

Hillbrow isn't just an electoral talking point. It is a neighborhood where people live, work, raise kids and in many cases endure extreme insecurity. Human trafficking, kidnappings, sexual exploitation and drug related crimes are among the serious challenges confronting the area It is deeply troubling that an esteemed public figure like Julius Malema would appear to treat the prospect of confronting crime and restoring law and order in a troubled neighborhood like Hillbrow as an amusing political challenge He is shamelessly delighted by the difficulty of the task as though the prospect of restoring Hillbrow is some far fetched fantasy rather than a legitimate and necessary aspiration
