Whenever my wife picks me up energy drinks, it is a grab bag of flavors she remembered me commenting on. I don't even really like most of them. I just want a plain Monster. But she got them for me, so I drink them. The same holds true for snacks. I went through two packages of Fig Newtons before she suddenly realized they weren't my favorite snack.
"But you ate two packages!" she shouted, visibly confused.
"Yes," I said. "Because you got them for me. If you got me something else, I'd eat that too."
I need to know if this is a general man thing or if this is just a *my man* thing because wtf. 😂😭
Whenever either of us go to the shop, we get the other a little snack or a drink or whatever.
I usually get Texan boyfriend a specific kind of drink he likes. Lately they've been out of the normal flavour, so I've been getting him another (tropical/pineapple).
Today, I asked him if he wanted anything at the shops and if he wanted another of that specific drink. I was like, "they have the pineapple one."
He quietly said, "I actually hate pineapple. So, please not that one."
Bruh.
This absolute WEIRDO has been drinking a drink he hates because I keep buying it because he didn't tell me he hated it lmfaooo.
Is this a common male thing?!?! Where you just keep putting up with something you hate because... your loved one bought it? Or???
What the fuck is going on here. 😂😂
I love this man so much, but sometimes this shit makes me think he's an alien, or all men are aliens. 😂
Brilliant. Ten outta ten strategy.
DSPGaming reveals his gambit
"I have an analytical mind, you may think I'm stupid, that's bc you're dumb and you fell for it all these years that I've been making content and acting like a dunce. Do you think that was just by chance? I am going to remain in the public zeitgeist for a very long time..simply bc that's how I set it up, and you all ate the f'in food..thinking I was the dumbest guy in the room, when in reality, I was pulling the f'in strings behind the scenes the entire time..you didn’t know bc I’m smarter..no one stays around for 18 years on luck"
Here's my prediction for the midterms. The Democrats will kick ass because gas and eggs still cost a lot. They will then completely misunderstand why they won their elections. Nobody wants woke shit back. Nobody wants communism. They just want gas prices to be better. So in four years we'll be back in the same boat with the left getting their asses kicked because nobody learns anything.
Ah, see, I can answer that. Rowling had no clue Snape was working for Voldemort. When I write, I have a bunch of stuff mapped out, but it changes from time to time. I had no idea I had a villain until partway through my first book. Sometimes things happen and you have to come up with reasons later.
One thing I’ve always wondered is why Voldemort never suspected Snape was a double agent during the events of Philosopher’s Stone.
Quirrell knew Snape was interfering with his attempt to kill Harry during the Quidditch match. Snape was also actively trying to stop him from getting the Stone. Surely, some of that information must have reached Voldemort?
Wasn’t it suspicious that Snape kept getting in the way of his plans? Did Voldemort simply trust Snape that much, or was Snape so good at hiding his true allegiance that even Voldemort couldn’t see through him?
This creature made a post about blocking people who support Harry Potter. I said its post will do nothing to help trans people as all it does is make them look irrational. It then blocked me. But it also deleted its post. So, thank you for taking my advice, creature.

I am sad when people I like die.
People I like do not have to agree with my politics.
Why do people like Wil Wheaton not understand this?
Kotaku writes an entire story about two right wing vtubers, neither of them far right, getting into a fight. However, how many stories did they do about Nyara grooming kids or Ana Valens putting sex toys up his butt when touching kids in Fall Guys? None? Was it none? No stories about those Vtubers? Interesting.
Hey! Where the fuck are my game guides, by the way? This doesn't look like a game guide, guys.
Far-right Vtuber community ostracizes female Vtuber after voice glitch. "When I'm streaming, this is me," Ember Paradox said.
"I don't have an answer for that. Any time I stream, this is me; Ember, the redhead, sometimes anime catgirl. Off stream? Outside of Discord? I'm just...normal."

I think the fallout between the whole @darlingstrawbie and @ember_paradox thing has made a bunch of things apparent on the right. I haven't been part of the culture war against the annoying leftist DEI crap because I hate gay people or trans people or drag queens or minorities or whatever. I hate the shit being made because it is bad content made by activists and not talented creators. Yet there are a lot of people screaming at figures like @Leaflit because they are criticizing Ember's decisions and not the fact that Ember is a man. That Leaflit would dare to support in any way crossdressing or drag or things like that. I don't think that people like that are fighting the same fight as me. I want those people to stop touching my shit. I do not, however, want them to stop existing. I do not want people to be banned from creating things. I simply want talent to trump diversity again. People should be allowed to succeed or fail on their talent alone. That is what I believe, and the rest is noise.
How about a sixteen year old boy who plays full contact magic sports, has a lovingly devoted wizard girlfriend who sometimes turns into a dog creature and often has people trying to kill him as he just cannot say no to sticking his nose into other people's problems?

Orcs don't have arcs.
TOLKIEN ORCS DON'T HAVE FUCKING ARCS.
[NEWS] “Marnûkh is a character meant to challenge long-held perceptions of Orcs. He’s such a departure from past depictions that within the production, Marnûkh has picked up the catchy nickname, “the Orc with an arc.”

Spoiler alert: No, marriage is not incompatible with love. Not everyone is unhappy, coastal intellectuals.
“Wicker” shows just how suffocating marriage can be—and asks whether the institution is simply incompatible with love, @fhill_official writes: theatlantic.com/culture/2026…
This looks amazing. Congrats to Leaflit and everyone involved with putting it together!

Butt hurt creatures like this can whine all they want, but Veilguard failed and Bioware closed down, so maybe they should have worried more about pleasing the chuds.

Could someone tell me what any of this rant has to do with Bioware?
If there's one thing the closure of @bioware has taught me, it's that the majority of racists are straight, white males from low income brackets with low educations who are pissed off because they couldn't win a race that was literally rigged in their favor from being born straight, white males. And if they don't have somebody to blame, eventually they'd have to admit that the person responsible for most of their problems stares back at them in the mirror every morning. But they'll spend more time obsessing over immigrants, blacks, gays, and DEI "agendas" than they ever have trying to improve their own lives.
An immigrant didn't blow your paycheck at the bar. A gay couple didn't get your truck repoed. A trans kid didn't make you drop out of high school, lose your job, and get divorced. A black family didn't keep you from learning a trade, showing up to work, or acting like a decent human being. YOU did that. All by yourself.
So when you're standing there screaming that everybody else is getting special treatment, maybe ask yourself why you're getting lapped by people who had to climb over fences that you never even saw.
Racism isn't strength. It's what insecure people wrap themselves in when they don't have accomplishments to brag about. Homophobia isn't toughness. It's fear wearing work boots. And all that DEI whining is just you saying "I'm too scared to compete" when everyone else finally gets their fair shot.
The hard truth is that if your identity depends upon somebody else staying beneath you, you never stood very tall in the first place. Quit blaming minorities for your misery. Quit blaming LGBTQ+ folks because your life's a train wreck. Quit looking for scapegoats and just grab a mirror. Because that reflection has cost you more opportunities than every immigrant, every pride parade, every DEI program, and every person of color combined.
