With the Sharks becoming good right before our eyes, and the rebuild ending soon, I think it’s time for a Daily Random Shark. This way we won’t forget where we came from, or who we had to endure.

Warso bought into the hype. He’s attempting to coach this team like they’re 3-4 years further in development than they really are. The young players need to be coached through their mistakes, not made to fear making them.

Not only is that malpractice but the entire fourth line being absolutely caved in but getting trot out there just has to make you laugh
ty dellandrea was the forward with the most 5v5 ice time lmaoooooo

Uh, that first part is all you mate. “Working on buy in” is all the coach But also, Stenberg, Dick, Misa, Smith are all about to see ice time cut in favour of 4th liners lol
#SJSharks Warsofsky asked about team buy in being an issue still: “Yeah. We got to work on that.” He added this about sending a message: “Yeah, I think there is. I mean, look, you know, sometimes the best tool coach has is to take someone out, take away ice time. So we'll look at everything.”

*whispers* Playoff building Grier has done a bad job. Drafting high end players Grier was his strength and it’s been bad returns otherwise
I think Mike Grier should be focused on finding a new coach instead of trade talks…

We need to get a pointed direct question like “the fourth line has been out outchanced 0-13 at this point. Why deploy them when you need offence?” He’ll get all bitchy and annoyed but that’s what you get with a soft coach, so you just have to ask
Sharks facing a 5 on 3. But lets assess the situation. Down 4-1 Beginning of the period. You have your 4th line out there who cannot generate any chances, who have been out chanced 0-13 and they get forced into an odd man rushes that causes 2 penalties... inept coaching!

Dellandrea being put up to Misa wing while Sherwood is in the box is insane, when Stenberg exists. At some point you have to question what Warso obsession with low skill, bad 4th liners is

Martin St. Louis has shown in Montreal that you trust your young guys and lbuild a system around them playing their game. You don't try to impose a system which primarily focuses on changing their game.

How a team with Celebrini, 22 year old smith, 19 year old Misa, 18 year old Stenberg, Cherny, Dick, Asky can be this unexciting is a question you have to ask. They’ve gone from young guns building toward playoffs in a few years to completely stuck in the mud and look even worse

Why does Graf stupidly take himself out of the play? Situational awareness that it’s a 4on4 is non existent here

All the bootlickers will be like “Misa was on the ice for a goal against!” lol
Misa gets taken down hard and awkwardly. Sens turn around and score. Good to see Misa is okay though, that looked bad

Pretty sure Misa is still leading the Sharks in 5v5 points. With terrible TOI figures and usage

Well it’s not like we care what the coach of Pitt does. He does realize he’s the only sharks head coach? It’s truly impressive he has never taken accountability for anything, and any time there’s an opportunity he either blames the players or gets all huffy and defensive lol
#SJSharks Head coach Ryan Warsofsky addresses splitting up Celebrini and Smith: "We're acting like I'm the only coach who changes the lines. When things aren't working, you've got to change things up, and that's what we did. And we have two really good players. We can separate them and make matchups a little bit more difficult. We tried to get it going. Obviously, didn't work. Would we go back to it? Possibly. It's not just about two players. It's about our team playing the right way. And if things aren't working, my job as the coach is to mix things up and get them working again. That's all I have to say about it."

Warso playing 5d chess by splitting Mack and smith for a game so that he can look smart putting them back together. Well played lol
Canucks commentator says you have to give credit to Warsofsky for putting Smith and Celebrini together to start the period. Funniest thing I’ve ever heard
