New Past Lives: The Life and Death of a Soldier in the Wars of the Roses. The 1461 Battle of Towton was likely the bloodiest ever fought in Britain. Archaeologists excavated a mass grave containing the remains of 40 men who fought and died there. What can we learn from them?

In XIXth-century France, regional historical societies started to give thought to the commemoration of defeats that had occurred centuries earlier in medieval period.
The principle underlying this second phase of commemoration was perfectly articulated at the beginning of the XXth century by Robert Triger, a prominent local scholar from the Maine region, during a ceremony honoring the great French knight Captain of the Hundred Years' War Ambroise de Loré: "The primary duty of a nation that wishes to remain valiant and respected is to honor its heroes and pay tribute to the patriots who, in difficult times, fought courageously for national independence."
Commemoration had thus become a patriotic duty owed to those who had given or risked their lives for France or even today, a collective commemoration between the two countries, France and England, as is the case with Agincourt.

Melllvar, you can't let a TV show be your whole life. You can do anything you want.
Look at Walter Koenig. After Star Trek, he became an actor.
Not just an actor but a well-rounded person with my own friends and credit cards and keys.
