Climate change didn’t kill 32,000 people in Europe this summer. Europeans rejecting air conditioning did that.

Welp
Hurricane #Isaias is legit still strengthening right now, latest recon pass has an extrapolated pressure reading of 951.5 and even more Category 4 supportive flight level wind barbs. Need to wait for our sonde to get a real pressure estimate, but I personally thought this would be up on the 960s or 970s by this point.
So right now both the NOAA and Air Force planes have found C4 support.
Honestly i'm not even surprised we should have seen this coming its the (I) Name.
A named storm/hurricane is LIKELY to form in the Gulf late this week between October 7 and 10. It will likely be named Isaias, and could make landfall on the northern Gulf Coast. Models are becoming increasingly bullish in their simulations, depicting a Category 1-2 hurricane – or briefly stronger – meandering through the northern Gulf late week.
The National Hurricane Center estimates 70 percent odds of development.
Anyone from Houston to Tampa should be paying attention, but concern is the greatest from New Orleans to Pensacola for now.
On Monday morning, a broad clump of convection, or thunderstorm activity, was festering over the Bay of Campeche west of the Yucatán Peninsula. Water temperatures there are 84 to 87 degrees, providing ample ocean heat content (fuel) for a storm to form.
Northwesterly winds funneled down Mexico's Sierra Madre Oriental mountains are meeting southeasterly winds blowing out of the Caribbean. In between, we get a pocket of vorticity, or spin, which may consolidate in the days ahead.
If that happens, a tropical depression – the precursor to a named storm – could form around Wednesday, October 7, then slowly organize late week.
There are some limiting factors, however. A strong subtropical jet stream racing across the southern U.S. will provide a wall of shear, or disruptive changing winds with height. That will weaken any hurricane as it approaches the coast. It would also allow dry air to spill into the southern states, hastening the system's unraveling.
That's why the hypothetical system would be weakening at landfall, though it could still deliver wind, surge and heavy rain impacts. Any dry air clashing with moist tropical air would also increase the tornado risk with a system's leftover tropical remnants.
Steering currents remain uncertain. While the Google DeepMind model, as well as the European model, simulate an upper-air disturbance scooping the tropical system northeast, there's also a chance that upper-level clockwise flow pushes it westward. That would increase the risk in Tamaulipas or Veracruz, Mexico.
For now, all we can do is be AWARE if we live along the Gulf Coast. The time to prepare may arise by Tuesday or Wednesday.
We'll have frequent updates.
Tropical storm #Dolly has formed in the Atlantic. Watching closely however there is currently no threat to the United States.

Big Bertha?
HMON model shows invest #91L tracking further south, and eventually further west. This run shows the disturbance traversing south of the Gulf Coast all week, running through some deeper ocean heat content. Something to watch for now.
Tropical storm #Arthur has arrived.
