Blake Griffin says youth basketball has changed for the worse after paying $140 just to watch his own son play, more than some NBA games
“I was at my son’s basketball tournament this past weekend, and I paid $80 for a wristband to watch my own kid play, and $60 to park for the weekend.”

The city of Rancho Cordova has approved plans for a downtown entertainment complex that will include an arena, hotels, retail spaces, and housing.
It will feature a 7,500-seat arena, at least two full-service hotels with a combined 800 rooms, a retail and dining district, and up to 1,000 homes.
Private capital will primarily fund the project, with the city of Rancho Cordova expected to contribute $185 million over time.
