Turning progress into impact requires reflection, learning and collective action.
From 22nd – 23rd October, LABE joined Kulea Watoto partners in Kampala for the Project Implementation Meeting (PIM) to review progress, share lessons and identify areas for improvement.
#KuleaWatoto #TwoGenerationApproach
At the heart of Kulea Watoto is the two-generation (2-Gen) approach, which supports young children alongside their parents and caregivers, recognising that children thrive when families are supported too.
The discussions will help strengthen implementation and improve outcomes for children and families.

A child's well-being cannot be addressed in isolation. Bringing different services together at the community level helps ensure that no aspect of their growth and development is left behind.

Teachers are at the heart of every child’s learning journey.
As we reflect on World Teachers’ Day, we recognise the teachers and educators who nurture curiosity, build confidence and create inclusive spaces where children can learn, participate and thrive.
Their work goes beyond the classroom; strengthening foundational learning, supporting children’s development and helping shape stronger communities.
We celebrate their commitment and the difference they make every day.
