A few races are garnering a lot of the media attention, but I want to flag one that hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves and it’s a situation that should transcend politics.
I’m talking about the race for the US House of Representatives, CA-14 seat. This is between two Democrat candidates, Melissa Hernandez and Taliban lobbyist Aisha Wahab. In no universe should Americans vote for anyone whose priority is legitimizing the Taliban, the very group that killed some of our bravest heroes.
If you are in this district please go out and vote for Melissa Hernandez @VM_MelHernandez. We must have some redlines as voters. Leaving a terrorist lobbyist in the people’s house is definitely one of them!

What I don’t get is even thinking that the left can help lower them.
The lefts goal is to artificially increase gas prices to have us move to unaffordable options.
Look at every blue state gas is taxed to death.

Twenty-five years ago today, I responded to the World Trade Center attacks in New York City with the remaining members of Rescue 4.
I went from playing Mr. Mom and watching Barney with my then one-year-old daughter to the worst devastation of our lifetime. I could spend hours talking about the gauntlet of emotions I faced over the next 18 hours, not knowing whether my father, two brothers, or so many of my close friends were on scene or buried under the rubble.
They say tough times create strong men. Nothing in my life prepared me for what I would encounter over the next 78 days. Some of it I share with those closest to me. Some I still have trouble talking about, even with trained therapists.
I dug out so many of my close friends and coworkers and was able to bring closure to their families. My tour at the World Trade Center ended when we found Bronko — Firefighter Durrell Pearsall, my best friend and my best man, one of the truly best humans I have ever known.
To this day, I still marvel at the bravery my coworkers showed that day, heading into those towers and how many lives they saved. I am proud to be one of the Bravest and to have shared the battlefield with so many legends and heroes.
We will never forget the brave men and women of the FDNY, NYPD, and PAPD. We lost the best of the best.
My heart goes out to all the families who have suffered losing loved ones to World Trade Center cancer and disease. The air we inhaled day after day was toxic, and lives continue to be lost.
I can only speak for myself when I say I would do it again in a heartbeat. I would give all I have to bring them home.
God bless America. God bless the FDNY. God bless our heroes.
