A local resident heard a noise coming from her engine compartment, and stopped by the nearest LAFD Fire Station for help. Firefighters at South LA’s Station 66 investigated the matter. After removing some basic components from the engine they were able to encourage the cat to leave its hiding place. After jumping to the floor, and taking a quick tour through the ambulance and into the bushes, firefighters were able to capture the feline and keep it safe until animal services came to pick it up. We thank this resident for taking the time out of her day to stop and get help for this little kitten. 📷: LAFD Andrew Johnson
