Congrats to @jase_evan9 on being drafted by the @RedSox in the 14th round of the 2026 MLB Draft! ✍️
Jase started training with Tread in 2023, sitting 87-88 mph. Now, he's worked his way up to 94-96, even recently touching 97 mph.
Jase struck out 64 across 46.2 innings at UNLV this spring, he committed to Texas A&M and is now getting a professional opportunity. 📈

🚨 BREAKING: The Red Sox select UNLV RHP Jase Evangelista with the 424th pick in the MLB Draft.
6'2" / 195 lb frame. PD gem with @TreadHQ. Sat ~high 80s a few years back... now he's routinely in the mid 90s (T97 mph). Really intriguing shapes. This is a sneaky good Day 2 pick.

1/ Over three years ago, @TreadHQ introduced the Kick Change.
One of the coolest parts of any project is seeing it eventually help athletes in real games, at the highest level.
A thread including a few of my favorite Kick Changes from the 2026 season so far ⬇️
5/ Ben Brown: 90.0 mph, -1.0 IVB, 11.9
A slightly smaller version of the Kick Change in terms of overall movement, but a great option added to Browns arsenal regardless!

Pitches like Anthony Nunez's kick changeup and Trey Gibson's death ball are gaining popularity, especially among young pitchers.
