conservatives will claim cancel culture is a left wing phenomenon and then demand a dog food company condemn a joke on a podcast they don't sponsor
yeah, this wasn't all hegseth's fault. more broadly it was a humiliating mass repudiation of stupid, fascist, vindictive, lying, paranoid, conspiratorial weirdos like you
I’m a team player.
Not many things will make me go scorched earth.
Setting up @PeteHegseth as scapegoat is one of them.
And, yes, I know the blackmail.
You know who you are.
not sure that "primary voters are idiots because they chose a guy who won in the general instead of the insane lady who is a republican now" is the coherent, winning message you think it is
70 year old man doing the "holy shit i just discovered that you're allowed to think for yourself" bit
I’m against all of these.
The new force in politics and elections is independents.
The fact independents are NOT an organized party, means we can individually do what we think is right, without regard to party politics. That is a force we have not seen before. And it is only growing as we all become increasingly disgusted by party politics.
Pushing these would backfire on Democrats.
i've had to do the thing in the 2nd paragraph. worst job search experience of my life. took me several hours to record ~20 minutes of answers because while i have a lot of experience and comfort talking to humans, i have very little when it comes to talking to camera

aside from harassing workers, it really sticks out how boring these kids are. no charisma, monotone voice, no ability to improv, repeating an easy prank you saw on tiktok. i was a funnier prankster when i was like 13
gladwell is so funny to me because i truly believe he's capable of being a really interesting thinker but he just loves grifting and easy paychecks too much
this is perhaps too ungenerous, but i think a big part of the appeal is it's a dose of "hanging around and bullshitting with friends" for people who don't otherwise have that
