Good. Many more must follow suit #EU🇪🇺
In less than 24 hours, 32 MEPs united to condemn Israel’s escalation in the occupied West Bank in the strongest terms, demanding urgent EU action: withdrawal of Israeli forces, sanctions, an emergency FAC and full suspension of the EU–Israel Association Agreement.

What a great partner for peace— Israel will now have to grant permission for Lebanese to pick their own crops. Can we guess how that will go.
Israel that decides who can and cannot reach their crops in many areas of southern #Lebanon … @Nizar_Hani “they stole olive trees … it will have a long term impact”

If Lebanon is a “rotten state” or “failed state” as many Westernized analysts claim, how do they describe the American-European states of genocidal coalition that have been systematically destroying Lebanon and Palestine literally house by house? And how will reforms repair that?
On @Reuters article below 👇, don’t spend too much time wondering why the cost of living of Lebanese people continues to deteriorate, and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future as risk of war heightens further. There is one main reason behind the double digit $ inflation that is sweeping through people’s lives and livelihood: Inflation in #Lebanon is the cost of delayed restructuring 👇(see article below) . Everything else is a corollary to it. substack.com/@thealiamoub/no… When the central bank is insolvent and the treasury is in default, the President, PM, government and the mighty Lord, can’t do much about inflation at > 17%, unless they restore the capacity of the State to use monetary and fiscal policy to protect society. Time to tell the Lebanese the truth & move ahead with an equitable restructuring that ensures accountability and builds a solid base for recovery. In the new Middle East, no one cares about bailing out Lebanon’s rotten state and those who capture it; not in war times nor in peace times.

#Iran security talks:
Iran is preparing to host high-level security talks with Turkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, as the regional conflict threatens to draw more countries into the fighting.

Last week we filmed I$raeli soldiers, Merkava tanks and D9 bulldozers in Zawtar al-Sharqieh, southern Lebanon. This is what they are doing there. Destroying people’s homes. But this is a mere snapshot of what’s happening across the so-called “yellow zone”. Demolitions and detonations of homes and infrastructure. Some 60 villages flattened. This is what a genocide looks like.

Having been subjected to a prolonged intimidation campaign and death threats by Jolanists, Ali Aqil, a young Alawite man who had served in the Syrian army fighting ISIS, decided to seek safety in Lebanon - Jolani thugs murdered him in Beirut. الله يرحمه 🤲 Read the tweet below:
Syrian Alawite Man Assassinated in Beirut After Monthslong Online Incitement Campaign Over His Past Military Service The young Syrian man Ali Alawi Aaqel, 36, from the Alawite community, was assassinated in the Hadath area of #Beirut while inside his car, and his body arrived at Baabda Government Hospital. The details of his assassination remain unknown at this time. Ali had been active on social media before he stopped posting around two years ago. The young man was killed following a month-long incitement campaign led by a number of pro-Jolani social media influencers and media figures. The campaign was triggered by the fact that the young man had served mandatory military service in the Syrian army before the fall of the former regime, and was known for his social media activity even during his service. Jolanists continue to circulate photos of the young man in military uniform to justify his assassination, despite there being no evidence that he committed any war crime, he was simply fulfilling mandatory military service as required by Syrian law, which applied to more than a million young men during the Syrian war, from all sects. Unlike those who incited his killing, his own rhetoric during the Syrian war consistently rejected sectarian strife, called for reconciliation between sects, condemned anyone who insulted another sect, and affirmed that their fight was against the “black-banners” group (ISIS), as he used to describe them. Regardless of the young man's political stance, jolanists forget that members of the former Syrian army fought in battles against the terrorist organizations ISIS and al-Qaeda, battles in which members of the international coalition, including American, European, and even Russian soldiers, also participated. It has become shameless to justify killing soldiers who were serving mandatory duty simply for having done so, without any proof they committed war crimes against civilians. By this logic, jolanists would be prepared to kill coalition soldiers for having fought against ISIS and al-Qaeda, after Qatar and Gulf states bribed enough money to legitimize the takeover of the Syrian state by al-Qaeda and ISIS remnants, without any elections or consultation of the Syrian people, and to help them build an Islamic dictatorship more brutal than the one before it. Ali Alawi Aaqel (Ali Shaheen) was originally from the Ghab Plain and resided in Latakia city. He was the son of folk artist who died during Ali's childhood. Ali Aaqel had completed his military service before the fall of the regime and returned to civilian life. After the incitement campaign targeted him, he wrote that he had been summoned and called in for questioning several times by the STG regime's military intelligence, with no evidence or case against him (even his social media rhetoric consistently rejected sectarian strife and called for the protection of civilians, even during military operations in their areas). The young man was forced to travel to Lebanon following the incitement campaign. A source close to Ali Aaqel told us he had been receiving death threats and was heading to Lebanon to protect himself, he traveled there during the current month of October, only to be assassinated in Beirut. It’s worth noting that assassinations and kidnappings targeting Syrian Alawites in Lebanese territory have been on the rise, with many of them reportedly carried out by staff of the Syrian embassy in Beirut, who are al-Qaeda remnants appointed by alJolani.

Genocide is wrong because it is wrong, not because it is expensive for Americans. The longer we allow these disgusting talking points which center US comfort rather than the lives of those enduring atrocities, the longer we will find support for these atrocities
New Abdul El Sayed ad is brilliant The question for Americans is this: How long do you want to bleed lives and treasure because your corrupt politicians have sold their souls to the lobby of a foreign country rests on racist thugs so–called Israel?

Brazil's electoral authorities have officially declared incumbent President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva the winner of Sunday's run-off election against far-right Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, in a major win for the Workers' Party. ■ Lula's victory comes despite losing to Bolsonaro in the first round, and despite a massive US- and Big Tech-backed interference campaign against him. ■ Lula supporters warn that Flávio Bolsonaro's US-backed coup attempt may not be over, and his father Jair Bolsonaro's failed 2022/2023 coup attempt after losing to Lula is not a distant memory.

How very Trump-esque of him.
🔴 Brazil's Sen. Flavio Bolsonaro refuses to recognize President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's victory in runoff election, vowing to seek annulment ⚠️ After results show his loss, Bolsonaro accuses Supreme Court Justice Cristiano Zanin, Lula's former lawyer, of improperly extending voting by 2 hours and creating unequal conditions 🗣️ He claims his party's election observers were removed from secure vote-counting room, demanding answers over handling of election v.aa.com.tr/4100537

Lula won the elections in Brazil against the far right. After the far right finished the first round in the lead, football fan groups in particular mobilized, campaigning for Lula and organizing street demonstrations against the far right. Palmeiras fans also campaigned for Lula on a mass scale. This will undoubtedly help erase the image of Palmeiras as a “far-right football club with far-right fans” that has stuck to them.
