The whole thing around managers is so overrated in my opinion. So many examples of clubs losing a ‘top manager’ but going on to still be great teams. Look at the likes of @BrentfordFC and @afcbournemouth . It’s almost like the actual players are what matters…
Arsenal brilliant defensively so fair play but our quality going forward was so poor considering the players we have. Thought our defence and midfield were great and gave us control of the game but our forwards let us down. Hate to sound like a stuck record but Wirtz🤦♂️
Pep would’ve sold so many of our players already and signed a better replacement. We waste so many seasons by persevering and ‘getting by’ with players who are average/inconsistent. To quote the great @Sjopinion10 if someone shows you what they are, believe them #lfc
Looking forward to seeing our good friend Marcos Llorente. More goals at Anfield than Andy Carroll and Rickie Lambert put together #lfc
Absolutely needs to be offered a new contract. He’s got that dog in him that we lack as a squad alongside supreme technical ability #lfc
🗣️ "We haven't been together for a lot of time but he is very important and has played a lot of minutes [to a] very high [standard]."
