I Don’t Have to Prove the Truth 💯 I reached a point where I stopped exhausting myself trying to make people understand what I knew, what I experienced, or why I moved differently. Peace came when I realized I could trust God, trust myself, and keep it moving. 🙏🏽 #MikeLamar

For a long time, I stayed quiet about things I experienced because I wasn’t interested in embarrassing anybody or destroying their reputation. But I eventually learned there’s a difference between protecting my peace and protecting an image that my experience didn’t support.💯

The Tables Turned When I Chose Myself 💯 I learned that life has a funny way of changing the roles people thought we would play forever. There was a time when I was struggling, giving too many chances, and allowing certain situations to drain me. 💯 #MikeLamar #PlotTwist

You Don’t Get to Control My Reaction💯 I learned that one of the easiest ways to lose myself is constantly reacting to disrespect, rumors, bait, or behavior designed to pull me out of character. Whether somebody misunderstands me intentionally or simply has the wrong perception.

I Refused to Pick Up the Rope 🪢 I know who I am. I know what I’ve survived. And I’m proud that difficult experiences never became an excuse for me to become the same kind of person who hurt me. Time has a way of revealing character without me having to argue a single word. 💯
