The S&P 500 fell 10.7% over the last 3 trading days which was the 11th biggest 3-day decline since 1950.
What has happened in the past following the biggest 3-day declines?
Stocks were higher over the next 1, 3, 5 years every time.

The S&P 500 is down over 8% from its February closing high. Over the last 75 years, the average intra-year market drop has been close to 14%. If you are overly stressed out about your portfolio today, the stock market isn’t for you.

After five decades of trading (with four losing years) it is now my default assumption that my next trade will be a loser. That, of course, is a bad assumption because my 10-year avg win rate is about 55%. But assuming the next trade will be a loser engages that part of trader eager to protect capital and cut losses short.
The markets do not know you, care about you and are in any respect interested in you. So why take losses personally. The markets do not take me personally in any regard.
Losing happens in the process to find the winning trades that matter most.
Hey, lose your ego. Who cares about you or your ego? Not me and not the markets.
Good data to compare current correction to historical drawdowns.

This is the only thing you need to read about tariffs to understand Bitcoin for 2025. This is undoubtedly my highest conviction macro trade for the year: Plaza Accord 2.0 is coming.
Bookmark this and revisit as the financial war unravels sending Bitcoin violently higher.

"Bitcoin is the greatest distraction from the greatest disruption that is coming to financial services"
This quote lives rent free in my mind every single day since I heard the CEO of Franklin Templeton say this.
Most of the participants in this space don't even realize what is happening in real time. Utility based blockchain projects are becoming intricate pieces of the global financial system.
I keep mentioning $XRP $XDC $XLM $HBAR $QNT $ALGO $CSPR $LINK & many other projects. Look at their market cap valuation, now look at what Bitcoin is worth today market cap wise.
The argument from maxis is that Bitcoin will never be flipped, that it will always remain in the number one spot. The institutions are force feeding retail the Bitcoin hype, however a few like Franklin Templeton are telling you the truth.
DON'T MISS THE TARGET. There are tons of distractions in this space outside of Bitcoin like meme coins for example. Block out the noise, research, study and everything will soon start to make sense.
This hits home…
> “How do you get comfortable holding positions in profit, without impulse-closing at the first sign of green?”
Nobody asked me this, but just pretend they did.
1) This is usually due to over-sizing your positions, but remind yourself that position size is merely one factor. And if we’re being honest, over-sizing a position usually stems from trying to overcompensate for previous poor decisions.
If the size itself is unmanageable for you, it’s likely your brain knows that and will spend most of its time/power fabricating ‘worst-case scenarios’; you’ll be plagued with crippling anxiety and susceptible to very dumb, impulsive decisions. This eventually leads to you finding yourself out of the trade, and relating every button press thereafter to “what could have been”. Torturous states of mind create torturous outcomes - repeat.
In bull markets, you can outperform even with missing every bottom ever, just by having the courage to hold positions longer and dream bigger
position size (scaled in correlation with conviction) is an invaluable variable that advanced discretionary traders can manipulate to create an edge, but it’s difficult to do that when your conviction is misguided - likely due to inexperience in markets/inconsistent profitability.
2) Remind yourself that you deserve to win.
that’s literally it.
Fair take.
You didn’t sit through 7 months of chop to start thinking about the exit already. $BTC.
You can endure the same amount of time again.
