Today, Mayor Muriel Bowser cut the ribbon on Cycle House, an 18-unit, all-affordable housing community in Ward 5’s Truxton Circle. This project shows our commitment to sustainable and affordable housing. As Mayor Bowser said, it wasn’t easy, but we saw it to the finish line.

Thank you, LISC! We're proud of the impact that our 3C initiative has made so far in the lives of both the residents and owners of small multifamily buildings. Let's keep up the good work! #AffordableHousing @jpmorgan
Small buildings play an important role in D.C.'s housing ecosystem. Together with @MiCasaIncDC @DouglassCLT @TheCoalition_DC @NatlHsingTrust & HCS we're working to make sure these buildings & their residents receive the support needed to stay and thrive. youtu.be/ANhk9Br6Tzo?si=6ApP…

The House must pass the DC Budget fix today. @POTUS Trump and @SpeakerJohnson must act to avoid $1B in cuts to DC’s clean, safe and beautiful services. These are our local dollars — not a penny in federal savings. Cuts that would impact DC police overtime, firefighters, and programs for our kids. Cuts that would also impact national special security events. The House should not recess until this bill is passed.

Proud to stand with @LISC_DC and our community partners once again in urging Congress to protect the HUD Section 4 program. This critical funding supports the revitalization of underserved neighborhoods, expanding affordable housing, creating jobs, and driving economic growth.
