Latest paper is now out! This one might be even more special as it is my last PhD paper. Thanks to all the co-authors & @McGraw_Lab thanks for everything. I was lucky to spend my years as a graduate student in such a stimulating environment, with an amazing team and involved PI.
Paper alert! @LM_Legault et. al show that preimplantation alcohol exposure alters the #DNAmethylation and transcriptomic profiles in mouse placentas in a sex-specific manner, with DNA methylation being a robust predictive signature. bit.ly/4egTNcZ @CR_CHUSJ #FASD

Amazing project led by @eli__elder Look at these figures 👌🏻
What is the long-term impact of loss of sustained DNA methylation maintenance by DNMT1 for molecular and cellular integrity of mouse embryonic stem cells? Thrilled to share the lab’s newest preprint bit.ly/3WDALr5 Amazing effort from @eli__elder and team! 🧵1/11

Happy to share our study in @FASEBorg ! Using a mouse model of pre-implantation alcohol exposure, we show that a maternal enriched diet for methyl-donor mitigates the negative impacts of alcohol exposure. #FASD bit.ly/3LcatGS
