Additional points were given for creativity.

The assignment was to write their first and last name in Desmos. They had to use functions we studied this year and could use additional ones as they wanted/needed.

My students never cease to amaze me whenever I assign this project (#DesmosNames). I get some of their best work and I hear things like "this was fun" and "I felt so smart doing this." These were created using just math equations in Desmos' graphing calculator! #mathISfun #MTBoS

My coworker just had to use 7th grade #geometry in her everyday job. They are going to change the flooring in the new Career Center and they needed to know the sq ft area. Here's her measurements and work if you want to use the problem in your class sometime! #MTBoS @ferRAWRa_
