The more Tim Sweeney insists that AI is the future the more he shows he's one tweet away from crashing out like an Ace Attorney culprit

We have origin and/or "ingredient" labeling for most kinds of consumer products. It is an anomaly that software has not been required to have such disclosures. I think it's very reasonable to require AI use to be disclosed, as well as other information that may be relevant.

Forcing developers to write a political statement to be used against them by the hate mob they’re helping organize is abhorrent.

I recently ordered business cards from VistaPrint and I think they used AI on the art I uploaded... The preview window and order confirmation had the correct crop, but the art on the business card I received was moved down and suddenly had my ribbons sprouting out of the head :(

I thought that most of us were driven by the feeling of finding the 20 lines that replace 200 convoluted lines, finally directly representing the solution instead of gesturing at it vaguely through a cloud of indirection. But the zeitgeist suggests it's weird to care about that?

QT is so wrong and I love Paul Dano with all my heart
Quentin Tarantino says 'There Will Be Blood' would've had a chance to be his greatest film of the 21st century if it didn't have Paul Dano in it "Dano is weak sauce, man. He’s just such a weak, weak, uninteresting guy.”

For Arc Raiders to ride the wave of human sociability all the way to the bank, while also being so contemptuous of the thing that makes us social animals in its own workflow demonstrates a lack of artistic integrity that I find impossible to ignore. Our review: bit.ly/49bVn01
