Two more London stations are now step-free โ
At Northolt, new facilities including a footbridge, lift access to platform and an accessible toilet mean the station is now our 95th step-free Tube station.
And at Surrey Quays, a new step-free entrance provides access to both Windrush line platforms, alongside a new ticket hall, accessible toilet and gate line.
The improvements at Surrey Quays have been funded by the Government and @BritishLandPLC, helping us continue to make public transport in London fairer, safer and more accessible for everyone.

When motorway driving, pay attention for variable speed limits overhead, which are in place to help keep the traffic flowing when risks are increased or traffic is heavy
Despite what you may think, temporary speed limits don't slow you down. They can prevent congestion.

Planning on driving your mates around?
Don't be afraid to tell them you need to focus on the road and make sure everyone is buckled up. Distraction is a major cause of road collisions involving young people, and failure to wear seatbelts leads to serious injury and death.

The area outside of schools is high risk for children walking and cycling. Parked cars and lots of traffic can make it difficult for both pedestrians and drivers to spot the dangers.
Drivers, slow down and pay particular attention when driving in built-up and busy areas.

A T-junction means the road ahead comes to an end, so you must be prepared to turn left or right.
Slow down as you approach, check carefully for traffic from both directions, signal clearly, and only turn when it is safe.
Slow down. Check both ways. Turn safely.
