Got a text Thursday night late. Someone needed help getting a car fixed. I simply told them what i would need and said i would see them tomorrow. Pretty typical 1am text for me 😂 Now heres the cool part. I get to the track and start working on the car and the @AbacusRacing guys come over and just start helping out. I didn’t ask them, they just started working. Remember a few yrs ago when i helped them out? I thought it was so cool they just came over and started working without anyone asking. They remembered! The point is you can’t just take from the pool without giving back to the pool, the pool will eventually dry up And this is what i love most about racing 💯🤘🏼

Got a jr sprint fuel tank that showed up Friday. Got it unboxed and the first thing i noticed was the cork air vent. Slept on it and couldn’t stop thinking about it yesterday. What keeps fuel from pissing out of it when the car is upside down??? Filled it with water today The answer is nothing 🤦🏻‍♂️😂 If u got a vent like this id rethink it, or hell just roll with it, what do i know. Check with ur sanctioning body first, might be illegal to change it Love me or hate me atleast i post it in the open for yas 🤘🏼

Shannon is probably the most selfless person i have even met. She introduced me to Owen when she was raising money to take him to the Marine Marathon in Washington DC. Between the 2 of them it changed how i viewed life Now her crazy ass is trying to raise money to run the New York Marathon. Why someone would wanna wake up and run 26 miles is beyond me🤦🏻‍♂️😂 I hand made these flowers hoping they would help her raise some money. Rainy in Knoxville so I’ve been out fan boying and being a race fan. You know, normal shit Was fortunate enough to get a 2 hour history lesson on vintage sprint cars from Craig Agan. Turns out that Craig purchased the Opperman Nationals winning car from the guy my dad sold it to Then Craig took me to meet Frosty, the artist who lettered the hood that i purchased the other day. Frosty signed the hood for me and then looking at his art was somewhat emotional for me. There is nothing cooler than being around someone who is exceptional at what they do. You just know u are in the presence of greatness and soak it all in Bonus feature was that Frosty shared that he has lettered the Opperman car for its restoration last year. He shared a pic with me of the completed car. It brought closer to a story of a car that my dad owned, then sold and we lost track of it. Today that story was finally completed. Frosty also gave me a panel to add to my collection of “cool shit” at home Also met Tim Deaver that drove the car the hood came from Ive been racing all my life, i appreciate every aspect of it and its kinda cool to just be a race fan for the day. The people i meet are the best part of it. Thank you all for being part of my family and thank you to a sport and a community that has been so good to me 👊🏼❤️
