Workers at the @LSPnow & @LSAFnow are excited to announce that we are unionized through @OPEIULocal12! On Saturday, the LSP & LSAF Boards unanimously voted to affirm our right to unionize & provide voluntary recognition. Follow & RT to support us as we fight for a new contract.
UPDATE: We have received a signed voluntary recognition agreement from LSP/LSAF management and the Boards of Directors. We are working to establish times for bargaining as we strive for a contract that recognizes the dignity of all Land Stewardship Workers!

Been there. Done that. Now you do it too!
Only about 14 more hours to take action! Please take just two minutes to contact the @LSPnow and @LSAFnow Interim ED and Board to urge them to #RecognizeUsAll actionnetwork.org/petitions/…

But seriously - few classes of worker need union protection more than the nonprofit sector. I've 'involuntarily donated' at least as many hours as I've been paid for & that is the norm. Workers are also routinely asked to raise/donate $ even if not their job. Proud of @LSWunion

Better late than never! Proud to sign in support of worker solidarity.
Thank you to former Land Stewardship staff for signing our petition calling on Management to #RecognizeUsAll: Terry VanDerPol, Bryan Simon, @jrupprecht_mn, Jenna Sandoe, @shakemeetsworld, @theRickMorris, @Katie_Doody, @flying_tomato, @robyngulley, & Amber Monaghan 🙌 #Solidarity

Way to organize @LSWunion.
Appreciate the wisdom of @LSPnow and voluntary recognition of the staff union. I hope that continues with the inclusion of staff who seek membership and representation.
After voluntarily recognizing us, Management & their lawyer have back-tracked, requesting that 3 card-signing staff who are legally eligible for the union be removed from the bargaining unit before they sign a recognition agreement. actionnetwork.org/petitions/…
Celebrating what we’ve accomplished together so far at Milk & Honey in St. Joseph! Cheers! 🍻 #UnionStrong #1u

We have 174 signatures! 🖊
Wouldn’t it be powerful to have 250 by Tuesday’s 9 a.m. meeting with Management?
Please sign and share - especially if you’re a member, supporter, former staff member, ally, or elected official!
