0.1 seconds left for the winning score in a Michigan vs. Western Michigan game? How??? 🤯
With 0.1 seconds left Will Horcoff ends this one!

💯 sometimes the SID and coach will pronounce a player’s name differently. There’s an art to writing a pronunciation guide for game notes and some it do better than others. Using tech to cut out the middle man is always best when you can’t ask the player directly.
SIDs who put the audio recordings of players saying their own names on your rosters online, YOU are the real heroes. My endless thanks.

Have known Amanda over a decade now and I am so happy to see her get a little recognition for all the progress she has made in a typically thankless and anonymous position.

Very well done piece, and glad to see that some semblance of rationality has retaken what as recently as last year was already deep into coaching carousel season.
✍️ A year ago at this point, nine teams had fired their coach. This year, it's zero. After a decade of normalizing midseason firings, we may be moving back to normal coaching carousel timeline. "Roster quitting is a real thing." nytimes.com/athletic/7693208…

Same, Bob. Same.
You can debate whether the final play was pass interference (I think it was), but you cannot debate ND should have had 1 more play. The field clock and TV clock were both at :01 when the ball hit the turf. I’m old, and it’s late. I’m going to bed

Today will be the 1st day in the history of the AP Poll (1936) where FIVE different top-8 teams in the country lose. • No. 1 Georgia • No. 5 Indiana • No. 6 Alabama • No. 7 Texas • BYU/Notre Dame loser @ESPNInsights

Not nice at all. I thought it was a good college town when I was there last year. I appreciated the variety of local coffee shops, hospitality, and a couple Friday night adult beverages at the bar, singular. Hotel was solid. Would gladly go back as the ESPN assignment wheel spins

I was fortunate enough to make my BYU debut last fall. It did not disappoint. Stunning scenery and a fun atmosphere at the stadium.
ESPN's @CollegeGameDay at @BYU tomorrow is going to be glorious. 📸 Scenics from Provo today via @ESPNImages photographer Rich Storry 🏔️

It’s Banana Ball like you’ve never seen it before… 1 stadium, 1 game… 2 fields 🤯 Banana Ball 360 brings the action to all 80,000 fans in South Bend. The field of play will alternate between two fields within Notre Dame Stadium to ensure that fans get the best seat in the house no matter where they sit.

Always a happy memory to revisit. Few, if any, hitters were ever as consistently big in the clutch as Big Papi.
On October 13, 2013, David Ortiz changed the course of the ALCS with one swing of his bat, another one of those "holy f*ck" moments he seemed to have an endless supply of in his back pocket.

For this #Bottom10 pollster, seeing UMass go to a bowl game will feel like seeing my kid off to college
UMass is sold out this weekend against Eastern Michigan, the school’s first sellout since 2014. UMass is 4-0 under second-year coach Joe Harasymiak and barreling toward the program’s first-ever bowl game. They are expecting more than 17,000 fans at McGuirk Alumni Stadium.
