Peter showed a conservative Hypocrisy when he left the table of Gentiles to sit with who Paul called the circumcision party. Peter chose to sit with them Galatians 2:12. Kinda like we’re seeing in politics today just so he’d look good. Paul confronted Peter not on outrage of his Gentile friends, but on the principle of the truth of the gospel. Everyone is saved by faith not the law. Paul questioned Peter “You’re a Jew, and you were living like a Gentile before these guys came in. How can you now force Gentiles to live according to Jewish law and traditions in order to be seen as saved and equal with Jewish Christians before God?” Peter’s response is not recorded but is not needed. God himself commanded Peter to overcome his attachment to the law and customs of Judaism Acts 10
