Picked up an 18yr old girl last night and was taking her to her home on Tupac Ln. I didn't know we had a Tupac Ln., but after seeing that I mentioned they finally caught his killer but I couldn't remember the guy's name. That was when the girl said, "It was OJ Simpson wasn't it?"

Most people understand it to mean that someone has completed a formal scholarly pursuit, ie college but generally when people go out of their way to tell you they're educated it's always because their argument is shit and all that's left is an appeal to authority. It's a tell.
