HOW FASHION BRANDS DIE (A STRUCTURAL VIEW) 🧵 Tiffany and Nike announced a collab today, leading to a lot of debate on Twitter (does it suck, does it not suck). I think it sucks, but want to use the launch to talk about how fashion brands—especially luxury ones—eventually die

A word of caution as we rush to declare a coroner's verdict on this election. Labour are 3.2% up on where they were in 2015 under Miliband, but nearly 30 seats down. Geographic spread of the vote (as well as Brexit, Corbyn's personal polling, and turnout) is key here.

The fear of becoming old is born of the recognition that one is not living now the life that one wishes. It is equivalent to a sense of abusing the present. 12/9/61

“As far as I’m aware she does not have any degree in economics.” “I was and I remain a professor of economics.” This is what happened when a Brexit Party MEP questioned the expertise of Green MEP Molly Scott Cato over post-Brexit trade.
Thinking I’m an adult at the ticket barriers, glad I’m not the only one 🎟🎟
