ALT Multimodal layer-crossing interrogation of brain circuits enabled by microfluidic axialtrodes. https://advanced.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/advs.202519744 In this work, we introduce a novel flexible microfluidic neural interface, termed the microfluidic axialtrode (mAxialtrode), a soft, multimodal device that integrates optical, electrical, and chemical sensing and stimulation capabilities into a single polymer-based neural interface. This next-generation tool enables us to interact with and monitor brain circuits across layers of neural tissue in ways that were not previously possible.
