According to calculations from @BrownUniversity @LaddObs, EQUiSAT satellite built by Brown students disintegrated in earth's atmosphere today. Expected to stay in orbit for 6 months, it lasted nearly 2.5 years on its research mission since 7/13/18 deployment from @Space_Station.

Look at this image we captured this morning. The #lyridmeteorshower was quit impressive this year with dozens of consecutive #meteors passing. Ninigret Park remains closed to public access, and we miss everyone. Can't wait until this is over! #MeteorShower

Check out this shot I captured of 2 #Lyrids streaking the #MilkyWay this morning (Apr 22, 2020 #EarthDay ) at @FrostyDrewOBSY. It was a beautiful show with a stunning sky. The park was earily quiet as swings in an abandoned playground swayed in the wind. #dystopian #EarthDay2020
