I apologize for everything I’ve said this year CJ.
How many starters do you want them to have? It's not failing to prepare. You don't think AA is aware? You don't think they tried? deGrom said no, Skubal was going to LAD despite our efforts. You lost 2 SP at the end of the year. Other traded SPs didn't do well. You wanted Ray, Mize, Gausman? They haven't been good. It's a war of attrition in baseball these days and there are only so many soldiers to be had for your side. 7/9 division titles in a tough division with 3 top 10 payrolls is hard to pull off. The Phillies had an $84M rotation this year, look where that got them. People just thinking you can add like you just do it whenever you want and if you don't then you didn't try. It's nonsense. $66M for Snell and Glasnow this year, they made 22 starts combined.

For the 9th consecutive year there were more K’s than hits in the @MLB which had never happened in the history of the game until 9 years ago!
Only 7 MLB hitters hit (.300) and the All Time strikeout record was broken!
The game is broken and every true baseball fan can see it!

Facts! This is so true!!
I couldn’t possibly agree with Jeff Kent more!
The game has gone too far concerning ANALYTICS and it needs a reset!
I would estimate that 99.99 % of retired @MLB players will agree with Jeff Kent!
Attention college coaches! Somebody is gonna get a great player and an even better human with this girl!! I’ve had the pleasure of working with her on her hitting and can assure you this kid can PLAY! Don’t miss out on her talent! Good luck Riv!!!

Coaches: Want to build trust with a new athlete? Start simple.
Trust doesn't happen because you gave a great speech on Day 1. It happens through the little things you do consistently.
Learn their name & a little something about them not related to the sport.
Listen before you correct.
Explain the “why” behind what you're asking them to do.
Do what you say you're going to do.
Notice their effort—not just their results.
And don't underestimate the power of asking, “How are you doing?” and actually waiting for the answer.
Athletes don't need a perfect coach. They need a coach who is consistent, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in them.
Coaches, what's one thing you've found helps a new athlete feel comfortable and connected to your team?
