This is a woman worth hundreds of millions of dollars. I'm not questioning her grief, but I am questioning why someone with that kind of wealth wouldn't simply offer to cover the funeral expenses and spare his grieving family the burden of asking strangers for help.

He says the whole industry is about to learn a hard lesson in hardware.
Chip output is exploding, but electricity is nearly flat everywhere outside China.
So the two lines cross this year.
He says by the end of the year, we will be making more AI chips than we can actually turn on.
Millions of them pile up with nowhere to plug in.
In his words, the bottleneck for the next year is not chips, it is raw power.
Whoever can turn on the most chips fastest wins the race.

Massiver Stellenabbau: Der Automobilzulieferer Schaeffler kรผndigt am 3. November 2026 den Abbau von weltweit 3.460 Stellen an, davon 2.660 in Deutschland. Vier deutsche Standorte werden geschlossen. Bereits im November 2024 hatte der Konzern den Abbau von 4.700 Arbeitsplรคtzen in Europa angekรผndigt.
Hohe Umbaukosten: Schaeffler erwartet durch die neuen Maรnahmen ab 2030 jรคhrliche Einsparungen von rund 300 Millionen Euro. Zunรคchst fallen jedoch einmalige Kosten von etwa 480 Millionen Euro an. Schwache Nachfrage, rรผcklรคufiges Verbrennergeschรคft und der langsamer als erwartete Hochlauf der Elektromobilitรคt belasten den Konzern.
Schaeffler reagiert auf den tiefgreifenden Strukturwandel der Automobilindustrie, der in Deutschland zunehmend industrielle Arbeitsplรคtze gefรคhrdet.
