These dudes who mix the audio in movies have to evolve.. I’m tired of the dialogue being soft af and then the music come in and the 808s wake the neighbors. Got me workin the remote volume like crazy

Just listened to Pete Rock - Petestrumentals front to back for the first time in years. What a masterclass in sample layering, not to mention bassline work. One of the greatest instrumental hip hop albums of all time, I’ll die on that hill

Worrying about over saturating the market when you haven’t even penetrated it yet is crazy.

half the time with samples the key and bpm aren’t even close to being right anyway 😂 be dragging stuff in and it’s a whole different situation

As a producer and audio engineer of course I know how to figure out the bpm and key of a song/beat but it is still easier to just have them written in the name of the file, so why not just do that?

Producer homies… WHY is my logic randomly recording everything formant shifted?? it sounds like all the audio has an octave pedal on it
