Damn. I knew Portola and Excelsior would be reasonable people and therefore Yes On G, but I had no idea the depth of support in the Outer Mission.
TONS of folks and merchants around Ocean supporting us. They know the damage done to working people who used Great Highway *multiple* times a day for their work --contractors, plumbers, etc-- and they've decided the compromise (road M-F, park Sat/Sun) makes good sense.
My voice is hoarse from saying 'thanks for your support' too often. I need a lozenge. You, on the other hand, can speak up by supporting the cause at: greathighwayforeveryone.com

Not everybody who lives in the Richmond and Sunset works in the city. Closing roads and forcing cars and trucks into bottlenecks may sound like a good idea at first, but a lot of people here are showing very poor judgment.
People from outside commute in, they get no vote.
New from me: I've gotten Park and Rec data regarding who uses 'Sunset Dunes' and who doesn't.
It seems the dark green bits of the map below, who went 70+% in favor of closing, represent 35% of the city but only 18% of visits.

In its quest to leave no stone unturned and no voter unloved, Yes On G is attaching special messaging for residents in 'hi visibility' corridors.
Be assured we see you and hear you.
You can help them by getting your own sign, or donate and volunteer at: shorturl.at/X5hHG

The Common Sense Voter Guide, looks out for you, not insiders.
Analysis:

Don't forget, D11 supervisor Chyanne Chen represents Bayview, Excelsior, Portola, Vis Valley, Crocker Amazon and Silver Terrace.
..and is YES on Prop G, for reopening the Great Highway on *weekdays* only.
Certainly feels like the whole city is against billionaire donors, yes?
The Pirate Wires' "Voter Guide for People Who Aren't Insane" just dropped and they are YES on Proposition G.
Their reasoning is impeccable- give the people of the Sunset and Richmond what they want, already:
