People who used to like to see the same scene for so long are suddenly feeling bad. Strange world. Same situation. But empathy is different.

The fact that so much of our legal system is dedicated to prosecuting & harassing those trying to stop harm to the natural world- rather than stopping those destroying the earth- shows why the current system is so broken.

Curiously I find myself wondering which water company/s is so incapable of forward planning that it's now running out of chemicals and having to dump even more raw sewage into our rivers?
And why didn't the EA ensure months, years ago that the industry had the stores in place?
The litany of supply chain issues lengthens, #Brexit plays its part.

Absolutely, the pollution damage that has already been done at Shardeloes Lake and Chalfont St Peters by HS2 and the inevitable future damage is irreparable, at least we can fix the sewage issue. @EnvAgency we are waiting for answers. @SarahGreenLD @gaganmohindra

Adding to the potential damage from HS2 to the River Colne, which is fed by chalk streams that flow down from the Chiltern Hills.

(1/5) We instinctively know that politicians receiving money from developers might influence policies that damage the natural world, but the same questions for the planning & environmental legal sector are barely being asked. We believe that should change. amp.theguardian.com/society/…
Heavy rain Friday in Harlow. Storm drains diverted all the muck off Temple Fields and the widened Elizabeth way. When will they learn? #fathersday #saveourstort #stopthecrossing #savetheotters @thameswater @EnvAgency @EnvAgencySE @yourharlow

@GeorgeMonbiot are you aware of the planned road crossing the River Stort at @LattonIsland? It’s a biodiverse area of lakes, marsh and woodland and will be destroyed by the work

Please sign and share our petition today!!! We only have a few weeks to stop this ludicrous idea. Flooding risks on the river Stort and Lea are already severe without all these natural defences being chopped and concreted.
