Trumpers & Elon Muskers are flooding my inbox with racist threats because I’m the Founder of @TribelSocial. Apparently, it’s driving them nuts that I’m a Mexican immigrant who created a fast-growing, pro-democracy Twitter alternative. If you have my back, please RT & join Tribel!

I left Amazon/AWS in June, 2022, and it’s time to start working again. I’m not looking for the same kind of role that I held at Amazon/AWS, and this thread attempts to explain what I’m looking for. DMs open/RTs appreciated.

I wrote a thing about risk taking!
A ton of the milestones on @OwnTrail involve taking big risks. Inspired by these, I broke down the differences between physical, financial and reputational risk taking.
Would love to hear your thoughts!

Difference between early and later #career stages:
Early: feel opportunity scarcity
Late: feel opportunity abundance
In both cases the key to selection is alignment.
We gain alignment by knowing ourselves #advantagemapping

As much pain as tech has put me in, I am grateful for my career, the successes I have enjoyed, and the privilege it has afforded me.
We still need to do better.

Go get yourself some founder therapy, reading the Founder Rejection Letter NFTs!
Invest in one to reveal the name of the founder… will they (or did they already) prove that investor super wrong?
(Alpha: One of them will be announcing an exit soon! 👀)

One thing that got left on the cutting room floor from the interview is that one of the farmers I’ve befriended literally drives over to my house and rings the doorbell to respond to the text messages that I send him. He’s not *quite* ready for AI powered farm equipment.
