The timing coincides w. #WorldBreastfeedingWeek which has me reflecting on my own journey of exclusively breastfeeding him.
A year in, I've learned:
Feeding an infant doesn't wait for busy schedules.
As parents, we have to make it work. I've nursed in cars, planes and even in front of the Colosseum. 🏟️
It takes countless hours & support to keep going. Yet, most people don't have this access.
Societally, we need to break the #breastfeeding stigma, empowering women to decide what's best for their child.
The opportunity to change the narrative and better support today's parents is now.
