Covid-era hero Dr. Mary Bowden just received massive legal support from Texas AG Ken Paxton in her case against the Texas Medical Board.
โDr. Bowden has been a champion for health freedom, selflessly served her patients, and acted in full accordance with the law.โ
The Texas Medical Board took aggressive action against Dr. Bowden after she attempted to administer Ivermectin to a patient in a medically induced coma from Covid-19 complications in 2021.
The patientโs family got a district court order to direct Dr. Bowden to administer the Ivermectin, but an appeals court blocked the order just before her nurse arrived at the hospital.
Her nurse was refused entry at the hospital and law enforcement was called.
AG Paxtonโs office declared today that Dr. Bowden acted โin good faith to provide medical care to a potentially dying patient at the request of the patientโs familyโand while under the assumption that she was acting in full accordance with the law.โ
