Is this shocking? I don’t know the total count. But it seems a lot.
1,108 Metropolitan Police Officers voluntarily resigned from the police service in the last financial year, new figures show. gov.uk/government/statistics… #RecruitmentAndRetention

Convincing people with six teeth to defend people with eight yachts may be the greatest political con job in modern history.

Sir Cliff Richard has backed a campaign calling for those falsely accused of crimes to be legally recognised as victims. Former Home Secretary Lord Brittan was also falsely accused around the same period and his widow, Dame Diana Brittan, is also calling for new victim rights.

If you’re 40 and you don’t have 2 kids congratulations. You’re gay. Any queer can have 1 kid with a few bottles of male vitality. You have to be able to perform under the stress of having a crying baby or your dick may as well be a wet gay noodle. If you’re over 40 and you don’t have 2 kids just they and blend in. Cuz no one wants to hear a word you have to say

The relapse rate in the private rehabilitation centre I worked in Colwyn Bay Parkland place, staffed and run by Adferiad, was 100%. Everyone I worked with in there relapsed when they returned home. That was three years ago and it was £10,000 for 28 days.

It was 10 years ago today my best mate James came running out of the room shouting, "It's a boy!" with tears streaming down his face. We never went back to Thailand.

It is 10 years since retired High Court judge Sir Richard Henriques published his devastating report into the @metpoliceuk’s disastrous Operation Midland investigation. He identified 43 major errors & made 25 recommendations to prevent others suffering the injustices inflicted upon Lord Brittan, Lord Bramall & me. Yet, ten years on, Lady Brittan & I are still waiting for Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley to meet us. We first requested a meeting in November 2022. Nearly four years later, despite repeated correspondence, our request remains unanswered in any meaningful way. How can the Met claim to have learned lessons when its Commissioner will not even meet those whose lives were devastated by its failures? I recognise the pressures Sir Mark faces. But he is not being asked to take responsibility for his predecessors’ mistakes. He is being asked to explain what has been done to prevent them happening again. The Met regards itself as Britain’s premier police force, then it should lead by example. Ten years after Henriques, surely that is not too much to expect.

Glad to be alive to see the demise of legacy media including the #Telegraph. The entire media machine that I grew up with is getting weaker and weaker. Bastards the lot of them.

I welcome the @MoJGovUK acknowledgement of the harm caused by Carl Beech’s crimes, but its response still fails to answer the fundamental question we have repeatedly put to successive Justice Secretaries: when will those deliberately & maliciously falsely accused of serious crimes be formally recognised as victims under the law? We’re not asking for sympathy or assurances that applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We are asking for clear recognition that those whose lives, livelihoods & reputations have been devastated by criminal false allegations are victims of that offending and entitled to appropriate rights & protections. If @andyburnham’s Government genuinely intends to put victims at the heart of the justice system, it must explain why those harmed by calculated perversions of justice should have to fight to establish their victim status. We will continue this campaign until that question receives a clear & unequivocal answer. @FACTukorg @AlexJJNorris @KemiBadenoch @NJ_Timothy Cliff Richard demands new rights for victims of false allegations telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

I'm not 67 YET but getting closer, but ALL of this is true! I need to make a very PUBLIC announcement on behalf of those of us who are 60-something. If you see a 67-year-old who seems a little boring now, understand something… WE ALREADY GOT IT IN. Like…GOT. IT. IN. 😂 We’re not sitting home on Friday night because we never knew how to have fun. We’re sitting home because WE’VE HAD ENOUGH FUN FOR THREE LIFETIMES. We went to parties in farmhouses, machine sheds, gravel pits and cornfields. Nobody sent a location because THERE WERE NO CELL PHONES. Somebody just said, “There’s a party out at Johnson’s.” Which Johnson? Nobody knew. But somehow 75 people found it. We cruised Main Street for hours with absolutely nowhere to go. Gas was cheap, the music was loud, and somehow 11 people fit into a car made for five. We drank Boone’s Farm, cheap beer and mysterious concoctions somebody handed us in a plastic cup. Nobody asked what was in it. You drank it and trusted the process. We closed down the bar and instead of doing the responsible thing and GOING HOME… somebody would yell: “RED ROOSTER!” Or… “LET’S GO TO THE BOONDOCKS!” And suddenly at 2:30 in the morning, the whole crew was sitting around a table eating eggs, hash browns and greasy breakfast food like we’d just finished a hard day’s work. Then somebody would say: “Well…might as well stay up now.” 😂😂 There was no Uber. No GPS. No Life360. No Find My Friends. There was just somebody saying: “Follow me. I know a shortcut.” And for reasons nobody can explain… WE FOLLOWED HIM. We made entire weekend plans without sending ONE text message. “Meet me there around 8.” That was the plan. And somehow everybody showed up. We did stupid things. We did REALLY stupid things. And the greatest gift our generation ever received was: THERE WERE NO CAMERA PHONES. There are events from approximately 1975 through 1985 that exist only in the memories of the people who were there. AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHERE THEY NEED TO STAY. So yes… Now we’re 67. We like our recliners. We like comfortable shoes. We like restaurants at 5:00. We like being home by 8:00. And if somebody calls at 9:30 and asks: “What are you doing?” The answer is: “Why the hell are you calling me this late?” 😂 We’re not boring. WE’RE RETIRED FROM ACTIVE DUTY. We’ve already closed the bars, stayed out until sunrise, made questionable decisions and somehow lived to tell about it. So when younger people see us peacefully sitting at home and think: “Man, you guys are boring.” Sweetheart… YOU’RE NOT LOOKING AT BORING OLD PEOPLE. YOU’RE LOOKING AT RETIRED LEGENDS. And thank God there isn’t much photographic evidence.

This clip right here is why many countries around the world hate the United States. It is absolutely baffling to me that someone could sit up on stage with a stupid grin and laugh about violating international law and pass it off as "we can do whatever we want because we Americans are exceptional" 🤦‍♂️ There is nothing exceptional about the United States. It is one of many great countries in the world. I could make arguments that Canada, China, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Australia, and many other are also "exceptional" in many metrics. So where is the United States "exceptional" here are a few metrics: - Obesity: We have one of the highest adult obesity rates among wealthy countries - Child poverty: We have one of the highest child-poverty rate among affluent nations - Healthcare spending: We spend substantially more per person on healthcare than any other wealthy countries, and yet are one of the most unhealthy nations - Incarceration: We rank near the top for the highest incarceration rates - Gun deaths: We have an exceptionally high firearm-death rate compared with other high-income countries. - Life expectancy: The U.S. trails many similarly wealthy nations despite spending the most on healthcare We also are a failing democracy with politicians who don't serve the people and only work to enrich themselves (no better example than Trump) We start useless wars across the globe and let foreigner countries (Israel) control and influence our foreign policy decisions. The best thing about the United States is the people and the diversity of our nation. But the US is failing more every day and our reputation has been destroyed on the world stage because of Trump and his idiotic policies The United States need to wake up. This clip exposes just how lost many Americans are
