Sorry Sash, Gyokeres is slow; he gets beasted for strength, and if by some miracle, he does find the ball at his feet, his control is diabolical, and so is his passing.
We are year two of VG14, we need to stop pretending he occupies defenders.

Just painful that we're out here celebrating the most expensive Arsenal striker signing of all time running around a bit, losing all 4 of his ground duels, and largely doing nothing of note with his 12 touches because he can't escape EPL defenders grabbing him (62% pass completion rate).

Lisandro Martinez was one of the first big misses for Arteta; he tried for him the season prior to his price exploding when United paid over the odds... we ended up with Zinchenko instead, went from 5th to 2nd, and never looked back.
Plan Bs have served Arsenal well. What a disaster of a signing he's turned out to be.
Why waste the first half? My hot take: we should be more aggressive earlier. Like a boxer, we spend too much time figuring out the opponent. Go for the early goal, the jugular. If we do that, no one can stop us. #FootballStrategy #GamePlan
