It's back!
Can't wait for this and they've picked 3 good stadiums for it.
Also announcing internationals in March must be a record for rugby league outside scheduled tournaments.
This format basically just decides who the final two will be. It doesn't guarantee the best 2 teams will make the last two spots it just guarantees the best team in each match up will make it.
The final two men’s berths at the IRL Rugby League World Cup 2026 to be played in Australia and Papua New Guinea will be decided in Northern and Southern Hemisphere play-off matches later this year. intrl.sport/article/406/rlwc…
This is a great development. Exactly what European rugby league needs.

Seen a few nations reference a ‘European Championship’ at the end of the season. After doing some digging it it seems we’ll see:
Division 1: 🇲🇹 🇳🇱 🇷🇸
Division 2: 🇬🇷 🇮🇹 🇺🇦
Division 3: 🇨🇿 🇩🇪 🇳🇴

Great to see Vegas grow after the success it was first time round.
Even better that they've acknowledged the asset the international game is and puta women's match as the penultimate game. Not just shoehorned it in there for the sake of it.

It was an entertaining opening weekend in the Southern Conference League with the pick of the games being a high scoring win for Bedford over the Skolars in their first game back in the league.
The Southern Conference league is back this week as the nine best teams amateur teams from the south will compete for the title!
Hammersmith will be looking to defend their title after they broke the West Warriors two year winning streak in last year's final.

Remember when we turned down a club that was able to average just under 8,000 in the Championship in a city with a population of 3 million. Let alone the access to a North American market they gave us all just so clubs could save £18,000.
Still an unthinkable decision.
Shout out to Newcastle yesterday. They have done incredibly well just to be able to take the field this season and have had some big scores put on them so far.
However yesterday they were leading at half time showing the incredible fight despite the adversity they've faced.
It's worth noting that there was two great local rivalries going on in the championship at the same time as Wigan Saints.
Whitehaven 23-22 Barrow
Doncaster 20-26 Sheffield
It's been yet another fantastic Good Friday for rugby league
