At the Jersey Language Policy Conference, The Minister for Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture, Deputy Kirsten Morel spoke about the importance of Jèrriais to Jersey's national identity.
He said: "I will be hugely supportive of Jèrriais as long as I am Minister."
