This makes sense now, a few times I've caught a cold in Cuba, the locals we stay with would blend up some pineapple with a bit of honey and a pinch of cayenne pepper 🙂 it worked well 🙂 nobody could explain to me why ... They would just say it was just folk medicine there 🙂
