While we’re in this very happening season of Indo-Pak engagements, plugging an old song of mine
“Ab hum Kia karain ge
Sadion tung jung larrain ge, Phir Kia?
Kub tuk yay khel karain ge,
Kin naslon tuk jhelain ge, Phir Kia?
Here’s to better times..

In this tri-series, the Pakistan team has put on a perfect tribute to the 90s team. The good, the bad and the ugly. All in a blink. Always watchable.
Sameer Minhas’s dad thinks his son should get a two year raggra in domestic cricket before making his debut. But the idiot fuckwads in the selection committee think he is ready for test cricket.

Of all the players Pak cricket has destroyed in recent years, Saim is the biggest loss. We took a guy who batted like this in Aus and SA, forced him to try to bat at high pace in t20s when he was always a player who needed some time to get in. Then we made him a full time bowler
Maaz Sadaqat was brilliant on debut, no doubt 👏
But the @SaimAyub7 disrespect is wild. Averaging around 47 in ODIs with 3 centuries, including two in South Africa against Rabada and Marco Jansen.
He has also delivered in Australia against Cummins, Starc, Zampa and Hazlewood.
We can try to make this about Saim letting success get to his head or wanting to play leagues or trying to show much swag. A guy does not lose talent like this, it is his confidence & his form that needed to be managed.
Ultimately Pakistan cricket has failed a young kid again.

ODI cricket is intellectually, morally, aesthetically, spiritually, emotionally, dramatically, artistically, physically, mentally, historically, consistently, decisively, dumbfoundingly, globally, unapologetically, unquestionably superior to every other game yet invented
There’s two ways to look at the resurgence of our senior players in this series. Either Hesson has created a team environment and a structure where these players have confidence & clarity. Or that the danda applied by the board is paying off. Or maybe it’s a bit of both.
People sometimes scoff at the power of art in bridging hostile countries. Just check this out…little than a year after these two countries were at war, Pakistani dramas and music seeps back into India’s popular culture. And that really is the power of art.
In Imran Khan’s bio he shared that in his 1st test as captain he was out hooking a ball. He quickly realized that he would need to lead by example with the bat.The rest is history.
Shaheen has a lot of natural talent & leadership instincts.Just needs to step up in these moments
The kind of shot from Shaheen that says, “I already my job with the ball, not interested in working hard with the bat”.
He’s going to have to realize fairly quickly , if he’s going to be a successful long term captain, he needs to be more mature than this.
This is really low percentage batting by Hassan Nawaz and what makes it worse is that it’s completely unnneccesary
Just bat normally, there’s nothing in the pitch and you’re chasing a really low score.
As much as I love the way fakhar plays his white ball cricket these returns are unacceptable. We can’t keep picking him on hope and big match reputation.
Wasim bhai in his element, Bill Lawry on commentary. This is one of my most beloved memories of Pakistani cricket. It was days like this that got me addicted to cricket. Pure magic
Watch this ball by ball. The greatest batter to ever played. And he is dancing. I really do like Bhumrah. I think he is the greatest of our time. But girrl.. @wasimakramlive had a string attached to the ball like flying a kite.
