I’d hate analytics too if I lead the league in ASS and BUM+
"I just wish we can get the analytics out the way... Why are we creating these stats? I think that's the problem with baseball right now." -Manny Machado

Lame mf finally getting called out for LARP
Jacob Misiorowski was asked what Pokémon energy he was bringing to #WorldSeries Game 1:
"Definitely the flame energy. What's Charizard's signature move? Fireball. Bring some fireball. I'm going to be ready."

ALT On the left side on the graphic, blue text reads “Milwaukee Brewers” in blue font against a beige background. The rest of the graphic has a dark blue background. A large heading reads “Miz” with a subheading, “Gotta strike ‘em all out!” There is a large cutout of Jacob Misiorowski pumping his fist and yelling in excitement. He wears a cream-colored Brewers uniform and blue cap.
The Dodgers were on the verge of making history with a lineup of aging future hall of famers and this guy thinks they all just agreed to give that up to possibly avoid a lockout (that may not even happen)??
I believe we have witnessed and are witnessing the biggest scandal in a North American major sport since the inception of legalized sports gambling.
The Tampa Bay Rays and Milwaukee Brewers have each never won a World Series. Both are the AL and NL standards for building competitive teams without financial resources.
What are the odds that, the season before a lockout amid financial competitiveness, two of MLB’s smallest markets make the World Series and are cited by players and media as proof you can compete without big-market spending? Both teams, of which each has never won one, have made it. We will have a first-time-ever World Series champion. It's all happening this season.
Major coincidence? Or ultimate collusion?
Baseball is a sport where if there’s a way to cheat, you will. The players’ union is one of the most unfair fighting mobs in any sports league. That's 'cause the sport of baseball is as dirty as it comes—always has been, always will be.
I’m not saying it’s odd the Brewers swept the Dodgers, whose stars looked like they phoned it in. I'm saying it's very unbelievable.
If you put on a tinfoil hat, you wonder if players pulled off the ultimate chess move.
Yes, I believe the 2026 playoffs were thrown by big-market players and teams to prove a point and gain ammo for off-season CBA talks.
There's many of you that will dismiss this already and think I'm crazy and that's fine—I don't think the average person understands how contentious discussions regarding a salary cap in this sport is and will be. This is Israel and Palestine. These players will never go down in history as the players that caved and gave a salary cap. The owners are prepared to lose multiple seasons in order to get one. If you think the world is very innocent, and this isn't something the players or the players' union would do, you do not have a true beat on what this moment is, and I have a bridge to sell you.
People will call me crazy and point to how good the Brewers and Rays were. Making the World Series isn’t unbelievable—that’s the beauty of what they pulled off.
When the CBA talks are in full force and the real shit starts to fly, I promise you that 2026 World Series will be exhibit A, B, and C.
No, public perception has not been on the owner side, and I still think a good amount still will be. I think fans and smaller markets want a salary cap—however, the tide has begun to turn on perception, and this World Series has helped.
Congratulations to the players and the players' union.
Fucking incredible move.
Respect.
The team with the best record in ball two years in a row is going to the World Series against a consistently pretty good team that has already been there twice in the last 18 years. The fix is in!!!!!!!
Draft for you. The Brewers and Rays meet in the 2026 World Series — first 0-0 matchup since ‘97. Odds of that pairing: 1.6%. The Brewers swept the two-time champion Dodgers to get there: ~1 in 10. Both are bottom-half payrolls (Milwaukee 19th at $155M, Tampa Bay 27th at $113M) — last time that happened was 1991. Stack it all: roughly 1 in 3,000. And it lands six weeks before the CBA expires and a likely lockout over the owners’ salary cap proposal — the exact argument that small-market teams can’t win, contradicted by the two smallest spenders in October. Baseball wrote the league a receipt.

As a life long brewer fan and one flying to Tampa to watch them, NO. he should NOT take a roster spot from anyone on this team. I LOVE Big Woo, but those other guys earned their spots and we really have no idea how he'd even perform.

Jay-Z is rap’s Triple H. Pac and Big were his Rock/Austin, and Drake is his John Cena. He was never THE guy, but he stuck around the top for so long that we put him in convo’s he was never actually in. Stephanie McMahon is his Beyonce, without her…
50 Cent DEBATES with Andrew Schulz’s co-host AlexxMedia over Jay-Z, claiming Hov NEVER dominated rap musically like people think and used his LABEL to put himself among the GREATS, before saying Jay-Z NEVER beat him and did EVERYTHING to make sure Kanye West could 😳👀
“Jay-Z is significant and a phenomenal artist, but even better at maneuvering himself into that position without the music actually doing it. They did every f-cking thing, they unloaded the bank, to get that Kanye record into a good space. Then it worked.”

The NFL did not suffer the reputational hit that it should've when Damar Hamlin nearly died on the field and the league wanted play to be resumed in that game after a 5-minute break.
