“Companies that were frequent acquirers earned 130% higher shareholder returns vs. those that stayed out of the market. Sitting on the M&A sideline is generally a losing strategy.”

2023 was a year of tempered #mergers and #acquisitions opportunities for both #buyers & #sellers in the #northamerican #transportation, #logistics, #warehousing & #supplychain industry. For 2024 we see lots of positive signs for sellers looking for a prosperous #exit plan.
2023 brought two large truckload acquisitions, several less-than-truckload carriers picking through a bankrupt carrier’s assets and no resolution to a $3.2 billion merger attempt, among other transactions.
