UPDATE—Asked Columbia specifically if they knew in advance of any DHS or ICE activity on/near campus, or whether they shared info with authorities about the detained individual or any other Columbia affiliates.
They *did not* answer those Qs, instead referred to this statement:
NEWS: Last night, DHS detained a Palestinian who helped lead Columbia encampment.
Agents told him his visa was revoked. He said he had a green card. They were confused—then said that was revoked too.

yesterday afternoon (mon, 9/9/24), i experienced ableism, health discrimination, invasion of privacy, intimidation, and harassment by a @TurkishAirlines employee and subsequently med staff at the istanbul international airport.+
throughout the ordeal, i was frustrated & crying, worried i'd miss my flight or worse. my ex-husband, who is turkish, even spoke to the @TurkishAirlines employee over the phone in case there was a translation gap to no avail. her behavior unacceptable &, frankly, likely illegal.
