First order of business in the 80's - 90's game Pencil Pop:
Pick the crappy teams, get beat (broken) with the @AZCardinals and the @Browns and then ask for a rematch and bring out your @dallascowboys or @Raiders banger to win the best of 5
Illini in the NBA, polished and ready to compete
I can't stand scUM, but Yaxel is a lot of fun to watch
@B1GMBBall @IlliniMBB
The rookie production thus far
- Yaxel had below average games the first two, above since then
- Acuff at -8.4 Net Pts/100 through 100+ minutes is bad, the worst I can remember, but I'll check
- 2nd rounder Brazile in there

I can confirm
Being the 'live option' for a handful of these SIMtoFunding shops, I've onboarded more traders than you've bot 'prop accounts'
Out of 10 'SIM traders' going live:
3 YOLO on day 3-4 & are closed w/i the week
2 Grind for a month, paying fees & bleeding out
2 Complain that the fills (live vs SIM) are horrible, rage quits
1 Doesn't complete the KYC, even w $$ on the table
1 Crushes week one, blows out week 2
1 Refuses to use the software
0 Become successful/profitable traders
I'm not saying that they never make it, I just haven't witnessed sustainability in these traders becoming actual wage earners
I work at a prop firm and have access to the servers. Social media makes it so most people are profitable when they aren't. Some can only trade on prop accounts but fail live accounts. There's some users and influencers that rely on niche strategies. I also seen some influences brag about their numbers when they aren't profitable on live. It's one of the reasons why some moved to Perps. They are few that are actually profitable on live but they don't have social media accounts or a big following - if you know what real trading is you will know why.
People always ask me, "Why do you describe yourself as an option whore? Always buying gamma?!?"
Because, I can quantify the risk, I'll lose small for 15-24 months, and then that ONE month happens and I own the firm.
I know I'm in the minority.
As a derivative risk manager, I see an option seller to buyer ratio of 200:1
Strange that 4 of the 7 largest traders, that all pre-date my time here, are premium buyer, strange right?
an options seller made money in 27 of 28 months. then lost his house and his kids' college funds.
nick kokonas, a former chicago options trader, watched it happen.
the guy kept selling far-out-of-the-money calls, collecting small premiums until the loss wiped him out.
the floor had a name for it: "eat like a bird, shit like an elephant."
Didn't SEA just throttle KC?
Isn't home field worth ~3 points in the NFL?
How do we feel about the @ChicagoBears only being +3 this Monday night in Seattle?

DeSantis signed his 8th budget having cut $10 billion in spending in his last 4 years, giving back $9b to taxpayers, having the highest credit rating in US (IL has lowest), and signing a budget that spends less than yours even though FL population is nearly twice IL. – at Wheaton, IL
I'd like to comment that Cornjerkers is a rough one.
Grew up near Fischer IL. They're the Bunnies and they're fierce.

Promises made, promises broken.
As President, I will clean up the cesspool of corruption at CDC and force the public health agencies to come clean about Covid vaccines. I’ll hold responsible those who lied or concealed critical health information, including the crooked individual who ordered the destruction of this myocarditis data.
You'll never see it because small time SEC schools don't have fortune 50 CEO's in the alumni database.
Now that NIL is here (and broken) the ability to stack three 5* per position are over.
The amount of duffle bag cash distributed must have been ridiculous
Good read, even better reporting.
Regulators have yet to approve GPU index futures but ex-Citadel quant @zjasper is already looking ahead to physical settlement.
And no, it doesn't mean shipping you a data center. Ngl, this was quite illuminating ⬇️⚙️
