Anyway, I'm looking forward to playing FIFA 17 online again. A game where football IQ, positioning, and decision-making mattered just as much as execution, not one where pressing the right buttons to activate PlayStyles does most of the work for you.

Looking back, there are things I believed as a coach that I would approach very differently today. Not because I knew less back then, but because experience outside of gaming taught me lessons gaming never could.

It changed how I see relationships, work, friendships, and even success itself.

Stepping away from the biggest stage in esports and building a career in finance has changed my perspective in ways I never expected. Growing, maturing, and no longer being consumed by competition every single day has given me a different lens on coaching, leadership, and life

Highlight the player's performance first. Then explain the value you added to help them get there. The best coaches create the spotlight, they don't stand in it.

I still see too many coaching posts that start with "I...", "I...", and "I..." when talking about a player's success. As a former coach, I understand the temptation. You probably played a part in the journey. But great coaching isn't about making yourself the headline.

I did not follow this years pro scene, today I check Twitter and see my guy @RvPuiu being World Champion. What a f*cking legend!!
