Hello Matt Thompson. I understand your frustration at being turned down when you want to ask uncomfortable questions; however, since you hold—and freely express—opinions about someone without their consent, I felt entitled to do the same. I’d like to start with a question: Would you ask Ariana Grande if she’s a homewrecker? Would you ask Olivia Rodrigo about getting involved with Fantano, given his history of racist remarks and misogynistic behavior? What about the various Zionists in the music industry who stay silent—or even fund—the Palestinian Holocaust? Would you ask Michael Jackson if he abused children? Or ask Addison Rae about greeting Trump or dating an Israeli? Don’t get me wrong—I actually like and consume the work of some of the artists mentioned above, and the controversies surrounding each of them are undeniable. Yet, why aren't these issues raised when @SPIN interviews or reviews them? You engage in a form of journalism rooted in false moralism, but guess what? None of that makes you any more relevant than an old-school sensationalist tabloid that drives engagement through wildly exaggerated stories.
