We honestly DO NOT talk enough about how God will give you a completely ordinary day. No emergencies, no devastating phone calls, no chaos. Just peace.
That alone is a blessing.
Six penalties and three first downs by penalty in a little more than one quarter against Dallas… zero total penalties against Philadelphia.
Dal beating Philly and Philly’s refs.
#DALvsPHI
How many first downs by penalty do the refs give the Eagles anyway?!

The @SNFonNBC pre game is just overrun with gambling talk. It’s just so corrupted.

This game was a microcosm of the last 30 years of Dallas Cowboys football. A million ridiculous things to second guess. Yet just enough good to have a sliver of a hope. But right when you believe there’s actually a chance, a giant sledgehammer crushes your nuts.

The Dallas Cowboys are dead last in total offensive possessions.
The Dallas Cowboys lead the league in total offensive points.

“We live in the age of search engines that offer us thousands of instantaneous answers. Yet, no matter how powerful they may be, they merely return what already exists and tend to give us what we already want. In the age of technology and consumerism, the great danger is not only censorship but also homogenization, and not merely imposed silence but the noise that makes it impossible to listen.
“Art is a different kind of ‘search engine.’ It does not proceed by indexing but by inquiry. Indeed, its inquiry is a focused attention that is not satisfied with the mere sum of facts, for it never ceases to dig deeper, seeking the thread that unites them. Your art, when it resists homogenization, when it draws our gaze, when it compels us to pause before that which cannot be consumed, is a form of cultural and spiritual regeneration.” — Pope Leo XIV

Happening today in hundreds of homes in the Charlotte region and, indeed, all over the country.
Love the Scripture. Adore the Savior.

Beginning again is not pretending the past didn't happen. It is trusting that grace still does.

what an amazing example of the ministry of the written word!
Hey @Len_Wilson: We gave out 500 Come Alive GalEph Workbooks from @invite_ministry on Sunday -- and ordered 400 more.
Each workbook we gave out represents ...
One more person learning to love the Scripture so they can adore the Savior;
Good Shepherd's investment in the Christian maturity of the people who call it home;
An individual coming to learn that a living relationship with Jesus Christ happens in community.
Much more to come on all this in the weeks ahead.
Let’s hear it for the Dads who just do the work. To every one of you. I respect the hell out of you.
Dad worked 3rd shift for 22 years. I only saw him twice a week.
22 years. 260 shifts a year.
Mom said "Your father chose that job over us." Dad said "I chose that job for us." I believed Mom. Kids do.
Turned 25. Found his old timecards in a shoebox after he passed.
Line after line: "CLOCK IN — 10:47 PM." 260 repetitions a year, for 22 years. Nearly 5,000 nights.
I did the math at midnight. Couldn't put the box down.
Called my uncle. "Why'd he take that shift?" He said "Nobody else would take it." Said "Third shift paid double. He asked for it."…
