Lack of communication leaves too much room for the imagination. When people don’t explain themselves, your mind starts filling in the blanks, questioning intentions, replaying conversations, and creating scenarios that might not even be true. Sometimes all it takes is an honest conversation to prevent unnecessary hurt. Clear communication isn’t asking for too much; it’s one of the simplest ways to make someone feel secure.
